It happened when I pause and then re-started the video with the given url.
here is my out put now with no pause ...

<Player> : Player started
<AVI reader> : w:320 h:-240   bpp:16  -  0:4
<AVI reader> : w:320 h:-240   bpp:16  -  1:4
<AVI reader> : w:320 h:-240   bpp:16  -  2:4
<AVI reader> : w:320 h:-240   bpp:16  -  3:4
<Exception> : AsfNetworkInputStream: FATAL: read() no more data

The above Exception could be because I have the player set to loop play back and
not exit at the end of a video file
and then I get this ...

<ASF network reader> : read_content() aborted
<ASF network reader> : Waiting for wake up
<ASF network reader> : WARNING: NetworkIterator::GetPacket() interrupted  (0,0)
<ASF network reader> : WARNING: NetworkIterator::GetPacket() interrupted  (5,5)

<AVI reader> : AviReadStreamV::ReadFrame  WARNING: Read() failed (stream pos =
0, stream length = 2147483647)
<Win32 loader> : Total Unfree 1023602 bytes cnt 93 [(nil),0]
<aviplay> : Closing clip

Here is where I hit stop and it closed the clip . I believe if I set it to quit
after the stream has finished all would be okay.
I don't feel this is a ( bug) but just how I have the player config set up....

<ASF network reader> : !!!!!ASFNetworkInputStream::Interrupt()<ASF network
reader> : Continuing...
<aviplay> : Played 1446 video frames ( 0.000000% drop )

And you can see the player player 100% of frames and Audio was working very well
also. And As stated above I never hit pause this time.
So I guess my connection is fast enough to play without having to buffer the
clip.
Do you plan to have a setting in the config to buffer stream by % or size of
buffer ?
Also do you plan to have a avi-lib so a embedded player could be made for
embedded video ???
And a NS/Mozilla plug-in could be made to support ms-asf video and mplayer2
embedded video ?
I know lots of work and few developers :) maybe something for the to-do list
