Why Qt compilation ?
If I understand it well - you have installed new gcc into your system
so you are responsible to take care of consequencies
(as gcc3.0 is still being marked as rather an exprimental compiler
(and also is extremaly slow compared to gcc2.9x anyway)

this is know isuee - but until I'll think it's imporant problem for fix
