well it's becuase I've swaped default audio renderer from
SDL to OSS - but OSS audio renderer doesn't support volume selection
in this moment (but it's planned to do so)
If you need it now:
vi .avm/aviplay
find audio_renderer
and put SDL ahead of OSS
Sorry no config in player for now
