If it's not than it's most probably my fault - could
you please post error messages you get ?
(It might be something simple and easy to fix - generaly you
should avoid usage of older version of avifile - sometimes there
are really ugly bugs)
Version latest 0.6 is at the bottom of the page - and two previous
release ar donwloadable from the avifile.sf.net/download
Also you may always extract avifile from CVS for a given date & hour
(-D 20020101)
