But according to my gcc adding extern "C" gives me warning as expected

So are you really sure this 'extern "C"' is actually necessary ?
Would it be possible to recheck it without this ?
(Maybe the bug has been caused by some other change - as there
is quite a lot of changes in progress at this moment)
