Actually I've been asked by other package mantainer to preseve original
naming scheme - I've used avifile-0.7.7 - but they have asked me
to use original and as really don't care about the name I've put back
avifile0.7 which also shows in which directory it's usually installed.

As I've said - other projects asked me to use original naming - as they
have already some automatic scripts for this...

I'm always releasing something which is in my eyes more stable and better
then the previous version...
I even guess the current CVS should be probably released as it fixes
quite a lot of rather serious problem - especially the one
with exceptions and -O2 with gcc-2.95.4

Qt is linked only with Qt programs - avifile will build avibench without Qt
(and as well those few other sample programs) - libaviplay doesn't depend
on Qt at all.
If you think you have found some bug here (i.e. some app which gets Qt linked in
and doens't require Qt) let me know.
