Hi!

Thax. I try old versions too, and removed these from my Suse, too. The
effect still present.
My version is 2002.07.29.
Here is the logs for these activities:

avicap /* divx5, pcm */

aviplay /* movie2.avi */

dvr /* divx5, mp3 */

aviplay /* movie.avi */

there is lots of 'read /dev/dsp: File descriptor in bad state' row...
What do You think, how can I repaire it?

post startup log of aviplay

might be that headers are wrong and are being misinterpretted by avifile
- if you could send directly to me the initial 0.5MB of the file so
I could check it myself.

Also please be sure you are always using the latest version of avifile
from CVS before posting bugreports - if Suse comes with some older version
of
avifile it's possible there are some hidden bugs which has been already
fixed...

present.
My version is 2002.07.29.
Here is the logs for there activities:

avicap /* divx5, pcm */

aviplay /* movie2.avi */

dvr /* divx5, mp3 */

aviplay /* movie.avi */

there is lots of 'read /dev/dsp: File descriptor in bad state' row...
What do You think, how can I repaire it?

post startup log of aviplay

might be that headers are wrong and are being misinterpretted by avifile
- if you could send directly to me the initial 0.5MB of the file so
I could check it myself.

Also please be sure you are always using the latest version of avifile
from CVS before posting bugreports - if Suse comes with some older version of
avifile it's possible there are some hidden bugs which has been already
fixed...
