I could understand that people do not read manuals :)
But if they don't even try to play with GUI.
Open Config dialog - select decoders tabs - and with mouse drag
selected codecs up/down.
also in ~/.avm/default you should have seen something like this:
codecs_audio ffwmav2,ffac3,msadpcm,ffwmav1,hwac3,ffalaw,ffmulaw,mp3splay,ffimaqt
,ffimawav,ffadpcmms,ffmp3,vorbis,mad,pcm,alaw,ulaw,msgsm
obviously ffac3 has to be put ahead of hwac3
