SDL audio output has volume control for a long time.
OSS got it to but quite recently (about 2 weeks)

Yes know issue - but I'm busy with many other tasks thus this
is getting delayed.
You may always remove it with any text editor and set the
font by xfontsel.
FontSelection is quite complicated thing if I want to support
QtFontSel dialog and use these fonts outside of Qt.
