[Avifile]X Error with aviplay 0.7.21

I successfully compiled avifile release 0.7.21 using Mandrake 9.0 (gcc 3.2)

 

Trying to play any type of avi-files I get losts of messages:

 

X Error: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) 2
  Major opcode:  144
  Resource id:  0x115

 

I use a P200MMX-System with SiS 6326 Graphic-Card.

 

Can anyone help me?
