Summary: codeckeeper.cpp sort_str segfault (alf2)
Initial Comment:
Current CVS Avifile sometimes segfaults at startup. The
segfault happens in codeckeeper.cpp, line 200 (function
sort_str).
I believe this is caused by the following addition to
fillplugins.h on November 26 (line 922):
ci.push_back(CodecInfo(alf2_codecs, "", "alf2cd.acm",
The empty string causes problems as sort_str() fails
with an empty "needle" argument (continues past a 0
byte in "haystack" unless the preceding byte is a ',').
