[Avifile]RLE or other lossless? compression support

Does Avifile support any lossless or similar compression routines that would be suitable for encoding line drawings? I'm trying to set up an allternative method of converting a series of .png files to .avi using transcode. Currently gifgear is used with RLE compression.
