Hi,
I downloaded avifile-0.7.7-fr3.i386.rpm. It requires qt, SDL, libvorbis,
divx4linux,
libstdc++ and lame. I have all of these packages installed but still the rpm
instller
(rpm -i) complains about needing the following files:
error: Failed dependencies:
libdivxdecore.so is needed by avifile-0.7.7-fr3
libdivxencore.so is needed by avifile-0.7.7-fr3
These two files are included in divx4linux-5.01-fr1.20020418.i386.rpm which
I have
installed. I have also verified that these files are in my filesystem in the
/usr/lib.
# ls /usr/lib/libdiv*
/usr/lib/libdivxdecore.so /usr/lib/libdivxencore.so
/usr/lib/libdivxdecore.so.0 /usr/lib/libdivxencore.so.0
Any idea of what can be the problem, I couldn't find anything in the FAQ.
