Summary: Problem configuring avifile 0.7.32

Initial Comment:
Hi

I try to configure avifile0.7-0.7.32 on my GNU/Linux
system and I got this :

[...]
configure: configuring in plugins/libmad/libmad
configure: running /bin/sh './configure'
--prefix=/usr/local  '--enable-shared'
'--enable-freetype2' '--enable-timing'
'--enable-x86opt' '--with-x' 'CC=gcc -s' 'CFLAGS=-O3
-march=i686'
'CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/include'
'CXXFLAGS=-O3 -march=i686' 'CXX=g++ -s'
'LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/lib -lpthread
-lgpm' --cache-file=/dev/null --srcdir=.
configure: warning: CC=gcc -s: invalid host type
configure: warning: CFLAGS=-O3 -march=i686: invalid
host type
configure: error: can only configure for one host and
one target at a time
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for
plugins/libmad/libmad

It would be great if you could help me with this !

Best regards,

Pierre.

Hello,

I had a similiar problem trying to configure avifile 0.7.32.
I was able to work around this by unsetting CFLAGS and
CXXFLAGS before running configure.
