My simple idea: 1) let user pause at the moment where some character says something 2) when user knows what should read in the subtitle line, let him browse through subtitles and select the correct subtitle position -- now subtitles are correctly aligined in the current position but it doesn't solve the problem of wrong fps in the subtitle file -- 3) let user repeat the steps 1) and 2) in different position of movie 4) now program should have all needed information to be able to scale subtitle time correctly for the movie How does it sound? BTW, would it be possible to use mplayer post-processing filters with aviplay? I'd love to use ffmpeg with post-processing. I don't like Divx 5.x because it seems to produce some random white dots around sharp edges in aviplay. -- Life is divided into the horrible and the miserable. -- Woody Allen, "Annie Hall" --__--__-- Message: 2 From: "Michelli Debouse" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: 1 Apr 2003 20:16:38 -0800 Subject: [Avifile]Remarkable Original Digital-cable Descrambler Ivg12UNT10cqBh32 --25Ydf746daTIbYiXy1Puv41kTrL0rCoFS6lKYg0jMUyHSjOnaR4422J3478p73w Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/html; charset="ISO-8859-1"

R<!K>e<!G>c<!Z>ei<!I>v<!V>e<!V> <!Q>Al<!G>l<!L> <!V>Y<!S>ou<!J>r <!T>Pa<!U>y-P<!X>e<!K>r<!J>-<!W>Vi<!O>e<!E>w<!W> <!D>Cha<!K>nne<!S>l<!K>s!<!U>
*<!H>*<!X>* <!P>CO<!E>MPLE<!U>T<!N>E<!T>LY FR<!U>E<!J>E **<!C>*

C<!Y>he<!S>ck<!Q> I<!E>t<!Y> O<!F>ut H<!G>E<!O>RE<!B>!

R<!M>e<!D>ce<!Q>iv<!T>e<!R> all <!Z>the<!D> cha<!J>n<!D>n<!R>els<!I> t<!P>ha<!B>t <!S>y<!N>o<!M>u<!H> <!H>ord<!L>e<!O>r<!W> <!Z>wi<!T>t<!Z>h y<!Y>o<!R>ur <!Q>r<!O>em<!I>ot<!X>e c<!N>o<!K>n<!L>tr<!Q>ol<!Q>! <!X> <!P>
Nev<!B>er<!F> <!H>p<!V>a<!O>y <!S>fo<!C>r an<!R>othe<!K>r<!G> <!Z>mo<!I>v<!V>i<!V>e<!Q>, <!G>f<!L>i<!V>g<!S>ht<!J> o<!T>r <!U>spe<!X>c<!K>i<!J>a<!W>l <!O>e<!E>v<!W>e<!D>nt <!K>aga<!S>i<!K>n!<!U> <!H> <!X>
It<!P> w<!E>ill <!U>w<!N>o<!T>rk on<!U> <!J>99% <!C>of<!Y> a<!S>ll<!Q> d<!E>i<!Y>gi<!F>tal <!G>c<!O>ab<!B>le<!M> <!D>sy<!Q>st<!T>e<!R>ms in<!Z> us<!D>e to<!J>d<!D>a<!R>y!

C<!I>he<!P>ck<!B> I<!S>t<!N> <!M>O<!H>u<!H>t H<!L>E<!O>R<!W>E<!Z>!

T<!T>o<!Z> be<!Y> <!R>rem<!Q>o<!O>ve<!I>d <!X>cli<!N>c<!K>k<!L> h<!Q>er<!Q>e

--25Ydf746daTIbYiXy1Puv41kTrL0rCoFS6lKYg0jMUyHSjOnaR4422J3478p73w-- --__--__-- _______________________________________________ Avifile mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://prak.org/mailman/listinfo/avifile End of Avifile Digest
