Hi,

I've been been able to use avicat to reliably concatenat avi clips with no
problems since I last installed Mandrake 8.2 about a year ago. I think I
compiled avifile out of the cvs back then.

I just re-setup my system with the Mandrake 9.1 and the latest avifile
release, and now avicat doesn't work any more. I get errors from mplayer
when I play a concatenated file:

Badly interleaved AVI file detected - switching to -ni mode...
mp3lib: layer-1 audio not yet supported! 1022/1022 0% 0% 0.0% 0 0 23%
mp3lib: layer-1 audio not yet supported!
mp3lib: layer-1 audio not yet supported!
mp3lib: layer-1 audio not yet supported!
big_values too large!

The first error appears to first happen at the boundary between the first and
second avi. Is this a known issue?

Ohh, I have also tried to play in xine, and aviplay without success.

Thanks
