I was attempting to build avifile as an RPM to go into /opt rather than /usr (via setting --prefix=/opt/avifile in confirgure) and I got a packaging failure when the "make install" of drivers/vidix/drivers attempted to write stuff into /usr/lib/avifile0.7/ instead of under /opt.
