Category: Open Babel Group: v 1.0.2 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Marcus D. Hanwell (cryosuk) Assigned to: Geoff Hutchison (ghutchis) Summary: Segfault when opening files with an xml file ending Initial Comment: Peter reported this to me, and I have been able to reproduce it on Windows and Linux. If you have a CML file, but it has a .xml file ending it causes a segfault. I looked at this in GDB on Linux and it looks like it is the code in Open Babel attempting to determine a default XML reader (it hits some null pointers). This should possibly be reported to Open Babel separately assuming we are using the OB API correctly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=835077&aid=3290381&group_id=165310 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Benefiting from Server Virtualization: Beyond Initial Workload Consolidation -- Increasing the use of server virtualization is a top priority.Virtualization can reduce costs, simplify management, and improve application availability and disaster protection.
