I've long wanted a "better" domain name for Avogadro. Unfortunately, a number of the obvious domains were unavailable (including the very cool avogad.ro which is supposedly for sale, but doesn't give any response to inquiries).
So I went out and grabbed Avogadro.cc (e.g., Avogadro is for computational chemistry). Hey, it's good enough for Arudino.cc. If others have alternative domain suggestions, I'm open to them. Otherwise, I'm thinking of a migration from avogadro.openmolecules.net to avogadro.cc starting on Feb. 1st, 2014. This would be via Apache rewrite rules, so all pages and URLs will automatically be forwarded to the new domain. Concerns? Thoughts? Thanks, -Geoff P.S. Incidentally, the domain already works.
