I have installed v-1.1.0 in Debian Testing RC3 in a VMware Player. There
were no problems with running Avogadro until I attempted to open the
spectrum of the compound, acetylene run in MOPAC2012.
Here is the run.log (I opened Avogadro in a terminal):

Now, as I am a user (an Organic Chemist by training and experience) the
errors are just so much gibberish.
This problem does not occur in other Linux distributions. At this point I
am running Testing in a VM before upgrading my Tower to Debian v-8.0.
However I would greatly appreciate pointers to the solution of this problem
