Hi Rich, That sounds very close to my setup bar 12MHz instead of 16. could you tell me exactly the contents of your fuse bits, read from the chip ? You can use avrdude: $avrdude -t (to enter 'terminal' mode) the at the avrdude prompt, type: > read hfuse > read lfuse Thanks in advance...
