Everything seems fine as far as Gentoo and AVR - remember I was able to run a proper make on 'demo.c' - and got the Hex file to download - etc.. > I can't help you with the Demos or the STK500, but I can help you with > AVR on Gentoo. Dunno who does the "emerge build" for AVR - but I'd suggest also adding in the "demo" programs as part of the build kit. To me - the demo programs (and appropriate documentation) are important. These are what most people probably cut their teeth on - and if the experience is good - they grow quickly.. Anyone out there with time for the Demo and STK500 assistance? :-) -- . . ___. .__ Posix Systems - Sth Africa. e.164 VOIP ready /| /| / /__ [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Mark J Elkins, Cisco CCIE / |/ |ARK \_/ /__ LKINS Tel: +27 12 807 0590 Cell: +27 82 601 0496 _______________________________________________ AVR-chat mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/avr-chat
