[avr-chat] Viewing SFRs in gdb

Can someone please tell me how to properly look at an SFR in GDB? For example, I want to see the value stored in UBRR0L. GDB knows nothing about that symbol, because it's a macro.
It seems terribly inconvenient to have to look up the locations. Is there a better way? Especially for multibyte SFRs?
