Joerg, thanks for all the info, I can now make an informed decision ! :-) Pertti Kellomäki <[email protected]> wrote: > You could try the uALFAT chip: <http://www.ghielectronics.com/> > It is basically a pre-programmed ARM which takes care > of the SD card and FAT file system. Their 'SD' OEM board is 100% what I was dreaming of, does everything I need, very compact and easy to implement, it will save my bacon in many ways ! :-) Going to order one real soon then. Sadly their French distributor only sells the bare ARM chip, but Crownhill, their UK reseller, has the SD OEM board I want: http://www.crownhill.co.uk/product.php?prod=1557 And since the UK have lowered their VAT tax recently to help their economy, I even save some money ! ;-) Can't wait to have it with me to start "playing" with it ! My project will come to completion much sooner than I anticipated, thanks to this lovely board ! -- Vince _______________________________________________ AVR-chat mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/avr-chat
