Minor correction: I think they are also part of the "AVR command-line
tools" which are distributed (IIRC from the Norwegian beta site)
separately.  Alas, while this package is smaller than the entire AVR
Studio package, it's still just a dreadful Windows installer .exe file
only, rather than say, a ZIP or rar archive which you could also
extract outside of a Win32 (or Win64) system.
