I did what I do with every release: I copied over the NEWS file from the release to NEWS.txt on the webserver. That's why the URL http://avr-libc.nongnu.org/NEWS.txt starts with: *** Changes in avr-libc-1.7.1: Of course, I didn't cross-check the NEWS file with the ChangeLog to see whether someone forgot to update NEWS for closed bug reports ... -- cheers, J"org .-.-. --... ...-- -.. .
