Would you find the time to roll that release?  In that case, I'd
rather leave tagging to you, as the tags should fit into the release
process.

Otherwise, I could try rolling the release myself (by applying a
similar procedure as the one Ted described for avr-libc), but I'd
prefer you doing the deed.  After all, avrdude is your baby. ;-)

Seriously, I'm already quite busy extending AVaRICE to also make use
of the JTAG ICE mkII.  My fellows at work are eager to drop these
Windows boxes out of the toolchain as soon as possible...
