It does still apply, though with some offsets:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] avrdude-cvs20050918]$ patch -i main.c.safemodepatch
patching file main.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 116 (offset 1 line).
Hunk #2 succeeded at 733 (offset 14 lines).
Hunk #3 succeeded at 774 (offset 1 line).
Hunk #4 succeeded at 837 (offset 14 lines).

Hunk #8 succeeded at 1481 (offset 40 lines).
Hunk #9 succeeded at 1469 (offset 1 line).
Hunk #10 succeeded at 1534 with fuzz 1 (offset 40 lines).
[EMAIL PROTECTED] avrdude-cvs20050918]$ patch -i term.h.safemodepatch
patching file term.h
[EMAIL PROTECTED] avrdude-cvs20050918]$

Also - I noticed my switch descriptions (-s, -u) are probably too verbose,
maybe I should shut those up a bit?

Regards,
