Details:
We have a mux controlled by the pgm_led signal that disconnects the ISP port
when not used (pgm_led high). For programming we are using the PONY-STK200
programmer connected to an ATmega128.
avrdude 5.1 does not set the pgm_led to ON during initialize
(bitbang_initialize), resulting in that the AVR is not detected.
The current solution is to change the avrdude.conf file to control the
pgm_led as if it were the buff signal. A better solution would be to always
set the pgm_led ON when accessing the AVR (as PonyProg does?).
Regards
Hans Forssell
