No, the option is not -m but -U, and you use the memory format "m". So e. g. setting an ATmega16 to enable EESAVE looks like avrdude ... -U hfuse:w:0x11:m (The hfuse string can be abbreviated to hf.) -- cheers, J"org .-.-. --... ...-- -.. .
