Hi,
A few months (or a year) ago I created a simple PP programmer that only had a
buffer chip, but it was not working correctly with avrdude 5.5. I looked into
the source and found that buffer signal releasing code had a minor bug, and
created a patch for it. The programmer worked fine with the patch.
Unfortunatelly I haven't submitted a bug report back then...
Anyway, it's here now, with the patch attached. Please review and apply if
it's still adequate for 5.6.
