Follow-up Comment #1:
The problem was that jtagmkII_close() has been called
with the wrong (i.e., the stk500v2.c one) pgm->cookie, so
it extracted invalid pdata from it.
I had to wrap it inside a separate stk500v2_jtagmkII_close()
function, properly adjusting the cookie before chaining
to jtagmkII_close().
