There's a several second delay between: > firmware2/ 18:22$ make flash > /usr/local/bin/avr-objcopy -j .text -j .data -O ihex dress.elf dress.hex > /usr/local/bin/avrdude -p m1281 -e -U flash:w:dress.hex
and > avrdude: AVR device initialized and ready to accept instructions After that, flashing is very quick. I feel like I've experienced this before, but don't recall how I fixed it.
