I'm afraid not - a dofsprite uses a series of cached images. A moviematerial
would need the images to update with every new frame, causing quite a
significant slowdown to the effect with many objects as blur would have to
be calculated in realtime.

If you require the dof effect for a single object with a moviematerial
applied, one way you can achive this is by using filters property on a 3d
object. just set the ownCanvas property to true and then apply a blur filter
to the 3d object directly, adjusting the blur based on the objects distance
to the camera.
