yeah, but look at their butt-ugly interface... that should cheer you up :)


ConteZero, your speed difference doesn't show up when i comment the same
code on my mac. Can anyone test this on a pc to verify any slowdown/speedup
there?

Jens - one thing i have noticed on macs - if you are closely watching
framerates for an app you are developing, the rate will appear to drop over
time regardless of what you do. After a few hours, i can sometimes see flash
files running at 2/3rds the speed they did to start with. ON rebooting the
machine, framerates go back to normal. I can't wrok out whether this is
something to do with the mac, flash player, or flex builder. Maybe it's all
three?
