Hey Mikhail

if you set ownCanvas to true on an object, the fog filter will no longer
work across the surface of the object but you should still see an effect
applied to the object as a whole. The post below goes some way to explaining
why this is:

however, if you are not seeing any effect at all of the fog filter, then
this is a bug. A small piece of sample code would help to start debugging
