i seem to remember seeing some software that demonstrated 3d models
created using this method, and loaded into flash (wasn't clear
whether it was papervision at the time) anyone remember that or have
the link?
there is also an algorithm going around in variuos pieces of
software than can create a 3d scene from a single image:

not much help for flash here, but the technique can produce some
interesting results...
