Rob? This is because of the fix I committed on the error you helped
find in the Environment materials. It's a natural side-effect of
fixing those bugs and since the NormalMaps also use the
CompositeMaterial it'll simply take more time to render.

Briefly said, there was a bug that made all the EnviroMaterials
display incorrectly. The error was caused by drawing each triangle
using only one sprite and trying to combine multiple layer operations
in one sprite. The result was that the entire 3D object became
transparent (rather than just the reflection layer) and that hidden
geometry showed through. BlendModes didn't work correctly either
before this fix. The class will now use a sprite for each material in
the composite materials and this causes a slowdown, but also correct
rendering of all materials that use the CompositeMaterial.
