Hey Jens
this is one of the few changes in the new version of Away3d - the clipping
object uses an initialiser object like other objects in the framework, so
that you can specify as many or as few clipping planes as you like:
view.clip = new RectangleClipping(-w,-h,w,h);
changes to:
view.clipping = new RectangleClipping({minX:-w,minY:-h,maxX:w,maxY:h});
or of course, you can still do:
view.clipping.minX = -w;
view.clipping.minY = -h;
view.clipping.maxX = w;
view.clipping.maxY = h;
a lot of this is preparing for frustum clipping, which should be added to
the trunk this week, so stay tuned...
