Hi - try scenePosition, which is a property of any Object3D object, e.g.
ObjectContainer3D, Mesh (such as Plane), etc.  It returns a Number3D object,
whose x, y, and z properties are the global coordinates of the object.

Hello guys!

I'm new to away3d, so please don't throw anything at me ;)

Could you tell me please if there's any sort of localToGlobal analog
in Away3d?
Livedocs gave me nothing on that.

But this is a function I need badly.

I have several planes which compose a cube (9 planes per side) (cube
is an ObjectContainer3D, planes are Planes as his children).
Then I need to rotate several planes (just the way sides are rotating
in Rubik's Cube).
But the thing is that I need to rotate each plane separately, using
rotationY, and rotationX.
And of course I'm changing their pivotPoints.
Here when I need badly to convert container's point into a local x;y;z
point of a Plane.

I would really appreciate any feedback.
