haXe is a programming language based on ECMAScript-4 (the same in which
actionscript 3 is based - it is very similar to actionscript 3), that can
compile code for several different outputs, including flash - as2 and as3,
javascript, c++ (which makes us able to compile to the iphone), php and
neko.In comparison with the flash as3 compiler, it has numerous facilities
and optimizations - such as access to the highly optimized low-level memory
opcodes, available only to adobe
alchemy<http://www.unitzeroone.com/blog/2009/03/18/flash-10-massive-amounts-of-3d-particles-with-alchemy-source-included/>
technology,
on the fly assembly of pixel bender codes, optimized data structures and
function inlining. These highly optimized data makes haXe the ideal
platform<http://blog.joa-ebert.com/2009/04/03/massive-amounts-of-3d-particles-without-alchemy-and-pixelbender/>for
coding a 3D library for flash.

Also, conditional compiling makes us able to with little re-coding have the
same library available for e.g. flash, iphone (c++) and javascript. And
still it offers a very easy remoting option, which makes very easy to pass
on instances between clients and servers written in haXe.

Rob, I would very interested, I've sent you an email, ok!?
