Ah, I guess I was initially right (I deserve a cigar lol). The #1 pitfall in
away3d is something hiding behind the floor, because the Y coordinates are
usually too close, and certain angles of the camera will cause that to hide
things.

I think you should try  "pushfront=true" on all things that are supposed to
be in front of the lane, and "pushback=true" on the lane. If that doesn't do
it once and for all, then theres more than one way to skin that cat :P
