Good morning A-List!

Hopefully you are still reading my posts - i admit there has been a lot of catching up to do!

This has mostly been due to time taken up with writing our very first Away3D book, due for publication by Friends of Ed in the near future

http://www.amazon.com/Essential-Guide-3D-Flash/dp/1430225416/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1255029921&sr=8-1 <http://www.amazon.com/Essential-Guide-3D-Flash/dp/1430225416/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1255029921&sr=8-1>

We also have an update on the way for the materials in the Flash 10 branch, plus a lot of fixes and updates that will be made official in our next major releases of the 2.5 and 3.5 versions of the main engine

Sadly, the 2.5 version of Away3D will be the last major release for Flash 9. After that, we will be continuing the development of the Flash 10 version of the main branch, as well as Away3D Lite of course. The Flash 9 branch will still have maintenance updates, but with Flash 10 now adopted by the majority of developers, concentrating on some cool new features in this area seems like the best use of the limited 24 hours in a day ;)

There are also a few new items on the horizon relating to Flash Mobile, which we should be able to reveal more details on soon.

Going back to the subject of books, I'd like to make a call out to any authors in the area who may be interested in helping out with a follow-up book to our first. Drop us a line off list if you want to know more - anyone going through the team would obviously get full review support to help with code checks, integrating with updates etc.

Finally, if anyone is going to be at the upcoming FITC conference in Amsterdam, there is a small group of us attending and we'd be very happy to arrange a meetup with fellow Away3D'ers - just let us know!
