[away3d] [Away3D] MovieMaterial.clipRect doesn't work?

I'm passing in a clipping rectangle like: (x=0, y=0, w=300, h=300)

The source movie for the MovieMaterial is 2000x1500, and no clipping
is occurring. What is the correct way to use this property?
