I'm getting 7fps with full view(370ish polys), the full 25 with top
down (50 rendered polygons) on my not brilliantly specced laptop.
Running in Chrome with display 1440 x 900.

My Laptop: Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 @ 2.6GHz

Is the slowness related to the number of objects on the display list
rather than polys?

I had a similar problem last year, that I fixed (well greatly
improved) by taking all objects off the display list that weren't in
the FOV.
