What are the best things to keep in mind for frame rate and performance for Away 3d & Away 3D Lite?
1: Poly Count - Always an Issue on any platform. 2: Texture Sizes? - What are best? Small or Large? I'm assuming small, but what is classified as small 128 * 128, 64 * 64? 3: Model format? - I'm currently using Collada models, both static and Animated. I guess for skinned / animated the MD2 format is better as it does not have to recalculate the verts every frame change. And With Collada skinned models, you then have weighted bones as well. 4: Window / Canvas Size? I guess the fill rate for the scene is also optimal to keep as small as possible. Thanks in advance for any help on this. Phil -- Phil Harvey [email protected] AIM: filrv ICQ: 354535 GTalk: [email protected]
