I wrote an XMM parser for Away 1.0 in F9 a while ago for Strata inc. Dunno if its a good idea to dive into it again and add it to the trunk cause beside Strata I wouldn't know if another app export this obsolete format. Strata does export 3ds, obj and collada. All these are supported by Away. Ac3d will export sometimes unvalid 3ds but obj's are just fine.
But too build such room, I would go, now that we have it, with the new BSP generator.
