Hey

I'm new to Away3D, but not to AS3 (and I've done a little PV3D). What
I'm not too hot on is the 3D stuff itself, and my big question at the
moment is this:

What's the best format to use when I import 3D models? I've got
experience with Collada, but now I see that Away3D handles 3DS files
too.

Are there significant advantages to using one over the other? I'm
particularly interested in using models with baked-in textures so I
can have shadows etc, so should I be picking one over the other? Any
help would be appreciated.

Looking forward to getting my hands dirty with this stuff, it looks
great. :D
