a little bit off-topic question: how many people are still using Flash 9? I
was considering using the flash 10 branch (you mean 3.5?) but I'm afraid
that people using flashplayer 9 would be unable to watch the movie. Is it a
serious problem? If you believe not, I'll start to migrate the project to
Away3d 3.5 this afternoon - I hope I can finish the migration before other
developers come back to the company on Monday :)

I'm not sure how using quads would help the problems you are desribing -

I've looked into the BitmapTransformer source code I mentioned last time,
and I found that it divides the quad into grid, so no wonder...
sorry for the misleading topic.

You mean the source code of Away3D lite? I've considered using Away3D lite
instead of the standard Away3D, but until now, I still can't get my scene
rendered correctly without the CORRECT_Z_ORDER renderer -- I tried pushback
you told me last time, it did solve some problems, but there are more to
solve :( I think I'll post another message about this, in this group later

Thanks!
