Hi,

As of this year all my projects are targeted to FP10 and so far so
good. The update process on Windows is pretty fast and well integrated
so there should't be too many issues. Of course you should probably
check server stats first. Maybe even collect player versions of
visitors.

With the security issues well publicized of previous Flash players, I
think 10.1 should get deployed fast. Providing a performance boost
Away3D & Away3DLite loves :)

Lite uses native 3D features of FP10. It's file size footprint is
smaller than Away3D (28 kb vs 120+ kb compiled). Of course, it has
less features. Away3DLite has a limited amount of classes compared to
Away3D. I always start with Away3DLite. If needed I try to port a
feature from Away3D (like VideoMaterial) and if I need something that
only works in Away3D I switch.

By using FP10's native API Lite is also faster and can render more
geometry.
